Biography of Natalia Lafourcade
Natalia Lafourcade is a tornado full of life and force that leaves you breathless when witnessing her talent and charisma. At only 19 years of age, she shows that the ingenuity and ability to create a musical concept with quality, is not a product of age or chance, the key is knowing how to dream and push your natural abilities, about showcasing your feelings and ideas, giving chance for a creation that’s melodically sublime .
Being able to use that natural talent is not easy, it’s important to have the guidance needed to discover the road fulfills your dreams: For Natalia her spiritual guides were her parents, who nursed the love of music. At an early age, she learned how to play many instruments: piano, guitar, saxophone and obviously she learned how to sing. "When I was 3 years old I started to sing in a Coatepec, a little town in the state of Veracruz. My mother and father are both musicians, and I was always in contact with music; at the age of 13 I decided to make the study music y priority, at the beginning I didn’t have any technique or musical influences, not even a concrete idea of what I wanted to sing, but I created my songs and knew I loved music".
