Biography of JD Natasha
Teen singer/composer/multi-instrumentalist Natasha represents a new breed of Latino youth. Her ability to compose in English and Spanish has brought the Miami, FL, native to the forefront of the new generation of "hybrid" Latinos. A pianist since the age of eight, Natasha eventually picked up the guitar and began writing in her early teens. Counting influences as diverse as the Cure and Nirvana, she signed with EMI US Latin, resulting in the completion of her debut record in 2004. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
